Well, it's been a whole month now since our wedding at Strathblane and our feet have only just touched the ground! We still can't stop talking about the wedding and how absolutely perfect the entire day was! I want to say a HUGE thank you to you for everything you did to make our wedding day so special. The food was delicious (people are still raving about it!) and the service from all of the staff was exceptional. Also, the run-up to the wedding went as smoothly as ever, thanks to Margaret and Allan. I was expecting it to be tricky arranging a wedding in Scotland when I was living in France but somehow, with your help and guidance, it all came together!

Dear Allan and Margaret,
Our daughter's wedding day was a truly splendid occasion for all concerned from the church to the weather but in no small way for the wedding reception services you provided on the day.
From the outset at booking, everything was gone over in detail with no sense of rush whatsoever and you followed this up with a detailed estimate of all costs and you made some very helpful recommendations based on your experience.
On the day itself, as the wedding cars approached, I could see your staff lined up on the steps with the champagne flutes to hand which was a very nice welcome indeed. The photograph session in the gardens with the backdrop of the Campsie Fells produced some really beautiful photographs.
The dining room and table settings looked magnificient and the meal of Roast Aberdeen Angus Beef and the vegetarian option was enjoyed by everyone. I was particularly impressed by your waiting staff standing, almost at attention, round the room as guests ate. After the meal everyone moved to the lounge in order to set up for the dance which commenced on schedule. Your dance floor is a really good size and was one of the reasons we booked you.
As an organiser of events myself, I know that the details are important and in this you excelled. You guided us unobtrusively throughout the day and left us to enjoy ourselves without wondering what happens next.
The most important guests on the day were of course Gavin and Fiona anmd they simply said they loved every minute of it. Rosemary and I are grateful to you for making our daughter's special day such a success.

We would like to thank you for all the help and support in planning our wedding. From the start you were fantastic with responding to queries and answering any questions that we had. You always made us feel unique and welcome, and ensured that our wedding was personal to us.
Your organisational skills ensured we were very relaxed throughout the wedding. The day flowed wonderfully and all our guests commented on the fantastic venue and said they really had a good time.
The food was fantastic - the pork main course was extremely tasty. The service provided by your staff was of the highest standard. You made our wedding day exactly what we wished it to be. We were lucky to get your venue as we feel soon that you will be very booked up, especially with the new extension, as word of your excellent service spreads!
We apologise for the lateness of this card but everything has been hectic with our move to Holland! We had a fantastic honeymoon in Cuba and have settled into life in Holland. I'm sure we will be visiting you at Strathblane again in the future.

Before the dust settles, I just want to say a very big "thank you" to you both for all the effort you put on to make our event so successful - it was a big effort amd it was a big success. I know from the comments of our guests how impressed they were with the cuisine, with the standard of service and with the sheer luxury, not only of the beautiful new dining room, but of the many cosy little corners that they could find when they wanted a spot of peace and quiet. We chose Strathblane Country House as our wedding venue as we wanted somewhere with gorgeous grounds and views so that weather permitting we could have the ceremony outside, but also lovely inside so we wouldn't be too disappointed if the weather let us down. We also wanted somewhere that treated us personally and not as just another wedding. Margaret and Allan were brilliant at helping us organise our perfect day from suggesting bands and florists to helping us customise our menus. They even let us drop off the cake, dress, favours etc. the day before so it was great to not have to worry about forgetting anything on the day!
Everything went perfectly on the day thanks to the team at Strathblane, we held the ceremony in the grounds where we got some beautiful photos, the food was excellent and it was lovely for all our close family to stay over and have breakfast together in the morning.
